As a Strategic Communications Intern for the State Historical Society of Missouri, I work on short-length video production, scheduling and writing content for our social media platforms: Instagram and Facebook, and taking photographs of our various events. I promote SHSMO’s online digital media presence by creating engaging and educational content that sparks curiosity for our audience. In my position, I was also responsible for creating the branding and content for our week long giving campaign in 2025. Through this position I have grown my technical skills in Adobe Rush, Pro and After Effects. Look below to see a selection of the short-length videos, posts and other work I have made for SHSMO!
Digitization Giving Week Campaign
In August of 2025, SHSMO launched their annual giving week campaign, which raised over $10,000 to help support their digitization efforts. I created the giving campaign graphics and social media posts. Pictured to the left is the web banner I made to show how diverse and broad the online digitized collections are. These graphics were also used when emailing patrons and members about our giving week campaign. Watch some of the short-length videos I produced for the campaign below.

Mizzou football sure has changed a lot since the Missouri Tigers and Kansas Jayhawks started playing against each other in 1891. Tomorrow marks the first football game between them since 2011 when Mizzou joined the SEC in 2012. This particular photo is from 1913, when Missouri beat Kansas 3-0. Go Tigers!
